Sex differences, resulting from hormonal and neurological patterns which arise during fetal development, provide the female with an advantage in verbal and social skills and the male with an advantage in visual/spatial, math and aggressiveness. In addition to the differential physiological equipping for reproduction, men and women are provided with unique motivational differences which are role-related and insure the continuance of the family. The most powerful evidence for creation is in the feature of stasis, or permanence, since what is characteristic of design is foreign and unacceptable to evolution. Because all alternatives to the family have failed both to provide lor families and to do so without the "gender division of labor", the family unit has demonstrated a resistance to change not unlike that of the "living fossil".
