Professor Stratton has worked professionally as an actor, director, and theatre professor for over 25 years. She specializes in directing, acting/movement/voice coaching, and stage combat — having shared her experience with various theaters and universities in Kentucky, Tennessee, Missouri, Ohio, and Mississippi. She currently serves at Cedarville University as Assistant Professor and Program Director where she teaches theatre performance courses and directs for the main stage. She is passionate about shepherding students to be excellent in their craft and to remain steadfast in their faith. She is an active member of the Society of American Fight Directors (SAFD) and the Southeastern Theatre Conference (SETC), and she serves as a production respondent for the Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival (KCACTF).
