What Can Be Submitted?

Submitted pieces cannot have been previously published, nor be forthcoming in an archival journal or book (print or electronic). In addition, by submitting material to the Cedarville Review, the author is stipulating that the material is not currently under review at another journal (electronic or print) and that he or she will not submit the material to another journal (electronic or print) until the completion of the editorial decision process at the Cedarville Review.

Because the Cedarville Review is affiliated with Cedarville University as an in-house literary journal, it seeks to uphold the University’s doctrinal values. Submissions may not be accepted if they contradict these values. Before submitting, consider reading Cedarville University’s doctrinal statement. Also consider Cedarville University’s policy on alcohol and other substances. Submissions that mention alcohol or other substances may not be accepted.
